Yesterday afternoon Linda and I drove down with Bob and Sue for lunch at Ably Asian and to see "Water For Elephants" in Canton. I read the book and really liked it. The movie did a great job telling the story.
I think it was well done and recommend it to all.
This afternoon I was taking a photo of one of my Trilliums down near the creek and what should I see but a perfectly shaped Morel, right at the base of the plant. I love them, food of the Gods! Tomorrow I will spend the day searching for more of them. Lauren and Zack are coming for a couple of nights and we can go collecting them up in the woods.
Bill and Peg came by yesterday afternoon and we had a great time visiting and drinking wine and talking and laughing. Dave came by and met them for a little while and it was fun for them to reacquaint with him. They took a hydrangea and a kerria and a couple of other things. I wish they had needed more plants. They left this morning on their way to Tate, Ga. and were going to pick up some marble scraps there.
