What a wonderful weekend I had in Birmingham with Bric, Janette, Brayden and Bricen. We ate at an excellent BBQ restaurant in Homewood on Friday night and the food was way good. We went to five or six grocery stores and bought a few things that are unavailable here in Ellijay. Vinegars, like Balsamic, Sherry and Champagne which are hard to find here, I try to stock up on when I go to the city, like Atlanta or Birmingham.
On Friday afternoon before I met Bric I went by to see a cousin of mine. It was good to see him and his wife. I am illustrating his book which we have been working for some time and it is nearing completion. I have to work on the cover for him and soon. I also went by to see a cousin of Linda's in Leeds, Alabama. I took her some apples from up here in Ellijay, "Mutsus" and she seemed quite happy with them.
