The crisis in the koi pond.

At last today we got some rain. It registered about one and a half inches in the rain gage and the Koi pond came up about an inch or so. If it would rain like this for four or five more days the Koi pond crisis would be over. Surely it will rain a little more tonight and that will help some too. The poor fish can hardly swim with their whole bodies staying submerged. It is really scary and will continue to be that way until some substantial precipitation comes our way and stays for a while. I almost lost all of them last year and this year, which is not over yet, has been worse.
