My monday morning in Big Creek

This morning after I put on my big rubber boots, the dogs and I went for a walk down the middle of the creek to photograph the Grass of Parnassus. We saw it growing on a rock during our walk down the road yesterday. Jesse, Moose and J.D. had a great time frolicking down the creek. The water level is so low that there are few areas that are too deep to get across. In addition to the Parnassus, there were several Turtleheads growing there as well. The Asters were in full bloom and the Lobelia siphilitica and Goldenrods, Solidago glomerata were everywhere.
