Wednesday I drove down to brother Ralph's house and rode with him (in his wonderful new black Lexus)to Headland, Alabama on Thursday morning, for the funeral of my 95 year old uncle. The service was very nice and fortunately, not too long. He was a very sweet and nice man, that I never really knew very well but the times I was around him he was always nice and pleasant to me. He was my Father's half brother.
After the funeral, as frequently occurs, there was a lunch at the Methodist church in Headland. Fried chicken, dressing, green Bean casserole, Potato salad and many other delicious things to eat, I will not even mention the cakes and pies. I enjoyed seeing all the relatives.
