An open letter to Dave and Lynn!

How can a person thank some one who takes much better of their home while they are away, than they do themselves. I can't imagine! Thank you both for your kindness and know, please that without the two of you we wouldn't ever even think about going away on a trip like we just returned from. Then, to return home and find delicious pound cake on the counter and Easter surprises, even down in the chicken house......I am amazed! Plastic eggs filled with jelly beans in the chicken's nests! It may, however have permanently confused the chickens. Pauline, the brownish one was standing in the chicken house with a very puzzled look on her face staring intently at one of those purple plastic eggs!

We have a few small remembrances for you and if you can come down today I would love to give them to you. Honestly it all seems so paltry compared to what you have done for us while we were away that I am half ashamed to even bring you anything back. The governing rule with us is that whoever buys it, has to carry it! So, that rule sort of makes us very careful about what we purchase. This came about after we took Bric and Peyton to the French Riveria and every one was so fascinated with the beach there that we picked up dozens of rocks that would only fit in my suitcase. We still had to go to Rome, Florence, Venice and back to Paris. Despite being a slow learner it took only once, carring rocks in my suitcase to know not to do that again.

We took many photos just for you while we were there, all lunch and or dinner meals! We ate so much feta that we both smell a little like goats now. It was worth it!

Thank you, thank you, thank you,
Thank you, thank you, thank you,
Thank you, thank you, thank you,
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
