Mother's Day

Today was Mother's day and although we had neither of our children here and none of our Grandchildren, we had a very pleasant Sunday. Mostly Linda sewed on her latest Quilt and I worked in the garden and yard. I also worked on the painting of the Rousseau Monastery at Meteora. Yesterday I mowed Ruby's grass and it was so high the mower kept conking out and I had to restart it numerous times. Dick told me that I would never get it mowed with the old mower I use so just to prove him wrong I managed the entire little meadow, such as it is and it now looks much better.
