We woke up this morning to the sound of rain falling on to the tin roof. It was wonderful to hear, as it's been a while since we have had any. The tomatoes are in, in a big way. We have eaten so many and Linda canned ten quarts the day before yesterday. It is great to have fresh Heirloom Tomatoes for salads and all sorts of other things. We are addicted to Greek salads, ever since we returned from Greece. Over there we got into the habit of having a Greek salad at every meal, except breakfast.
The Raspberries are fantastic and although we have only a few plants, they have really made the berries. We have to pick them almost every day. Believe it or not, Moose also likes to eat the Raspberries. He actually goes down to the garden, pulls them and woofs them right down. Who knew that dogs would like Raspberries?
