Walking down the road this afternoon Linda and I saw the Abernathys riding around and they stopped to talk briefly. He said that he had killed a large black Coyote a couple of weeks ago and that a large group of them are flourishing here in the Big Creek valley. They are the reason the game animals are in such short supply.
This morning John and Martha stopped by and we had a nice visit. They are headed back to Boston this afternoon. They had a lot of work done up at their cabin. It looks great! Linda and I walked up there at almost dark yesterday afternoon and had a glass of wine with them and saw all the work they have had done.
Dave and Lynn dropped by this morning and picked up the card I made for them to send to their friend Rose.
Today I made a batch of scones and two loaves of sour dough rustic bread.
