This morning the temperature was down in the teens, around 14 degrees. The high here in so far as I know was 33 degrees and that was only for a short period of time. This afternoon the temp started to drop again and the snow began in earnest. It is now well after dark and the temp in in the twenties. The neighbors down the road called and she is here alone, her husband has gone out of town and she is here with her children. She wanted to know if we were going to be here and if anything happened could she call on us to help her out. Linda of course said yes, that we would be delighted to do anything we can. They live about a mile from our house.
Linda said this forgetting that Peyton has the only 4wheel drive vehicle that we own. I guess if we have to, we can hike down there in the snow and offer what help we can if she should need us. I hope it is not in the middle of the night. Please!
