The roofer came today and worked on the leak in our roof. He and a helper spent a couple of hours working on it and we hope it is finally fixed. Peyton came out and we had a nice lunch. Dave dropped by as well and it was fun to have a little company. Nobody stayed very long.
I plan to start planting the rose bushes Harry and Anne Marie gave me for Christmas last, tomorrow. The photos of the ones I ordered were amazing and I can't wait to get them into the ground and see if they are going to do well up here. Hope, hope!
Yesterday Linda and I drove over to Birmingham for the funeral of one of Linda's cousins. Pat and Linda grew up close to each other and were always friends as well as cousins. We somehow wound up there a day early as the funeral was actually today and not Tuesday. Oh well, we probably had more time with the family than if we had gone on the right day.
