It started raining in the middle of last night. It woke me up several times and has continued to rain most of the day today. Linda got out and unstopped the gutters at ground level and I climbed out onto the roof to unplug the gutters up there. Treacherous as it was to get out on the roof top, sopping wet and with the occasional lightning bolt I was afraid if I didn't we would be overwhelmed with the water, in and outside the house.
We had a great visit with Susan and ate well and had "catching up time". She brought a delicious pound cake and we ate most of it with strawberries and whipped cream.
What fun!
The rain continues.
