Sunday, January 09, 2011....14 degrees here at Big Creek this morning

Yesterday Linda and I drove up to Chattanooga for a movie and lunch with Peyton. He and Linda went to see "Season of the Witch" and I went to see "True Grit". The movie was excellent and so much better that the original John Wayne version. I am surprised it was not nominated for a golden globe award and can only hope that the Academy Awards like it better. The Coen brothers are more amazing with each passing year. It was very well done and I highly recommend it for anyone. The cinematography, acting, plot and everything about it was just too good. I loved the movie!
