The Pamper threat
I was alarmed this afternoon on my return from a day at the doctor's office when the phone rang and it was Dave, my neighbor from up on the hill behind our house. He seemed somewhat excited and told me that there were no more Pampers in Georgia. This concerned me a great deal because I knew that our three grand children were coming to spend the majority of next week with us and I was unsure what we would do with no diapers in Georgia. Alarming at the least, having three grand children currently using so many diapers! Well, as we conversed and he told me that the last one had been shot by someone in East Point, Georgia. I began to think one of us did not know what we were actually talking about. It was me, of course, he had seen a news report and the subject was Panthers, not Pampers. Oh well, it was not even the first time today I had been confused about some thing. Thanks Dave!
