Today, November 22, 2008 is my 65 birthday. Yipes, I never thought I would live to be 30, much less this old. As they say, "if I had know I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself." I am in the process of doing better on that front than I did in my younger days but I fear that for the most part, it is too late. Oh well, I will do what I can, I want to be around for Brayden, Bricen, Emma and of course Bric and Peyton. They are so special and I love them so much!
Linda and I are going it to Blue Ridge to meet Peyton for breakfast at Meyer's German Bakery this morning at 9:00 or 9:30. They have really good pastries and breads. Van and Diane came down for drinks last night and we had a nice visit. They may meet us in the morning for breakfast at Meyer's.
We will need some bread for the Honey Baked Ham (for sandwiches and the like)that I bought last Wednesday in Canton. Bric called last night and he has a trial on Monday that he has to be there for. Now Linda and I have a thawed turkey and a huge ham that we have to eat. And, almost a week to go before we can celebrate Thanksgiving.
Yesterday I made a Pumpkin pie, hummm, I wonder who is going to eat that and all the ham and turkey that has to be consumed as well!
